About the Assistance Scheme For Construction Worker In Case Of General Or Accidental Death Or Injury Scheme
The Assistance to Construction workers in case of injury or death or accident is a scheme implemented in the state of Rajasthan to provide financial assistance to construction workers and their families in case of an accident resulting in injury or death. Under this scheme, a compensation of up to Rs. 3 lakhs is provided in case of permanent disability or accidental death of a registered construction worker. Additionally, medical expenses are covered for the treatment of injuries sustained during an accident at the construction site.

To be eligible for this scheme, the construction worker must be registered with the Construction Workers Welfare Board in Rajasthan. No assistance shall be payable in the event of death or injury caused by suicide or by consumption of drugs or substances or in case of death or injury caused by assault on one another in contravention of law for the purpose of committing an offence.
