Banglar Yuba Sathi

About the Banglar Yuba Sathi Scheme

The scheme “Banglar Yuba Sathi” by the Department of Youth Services & Sports, Government of West Bengal aims to support educated unemployed youth by providing ₹1,500/- per month through direct bank transfer for up to 5 year or till they get employment or enroll in any other scheme, whichever is earlier.

Benefits

  • Financial Assistance: ₹1,500/- per month. - Mode of Disbursement: Financial Assistance under the scheme will be credited by Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) to an AADHAR Linked Bank Account held solely by the eligible unemployed youth. - Frequency of Disbursement: The benefit is disbursed monthly or at regular intervals. - Validity of Benefit: The benefit is valid for a maximum period of 5 years, subject to continued eligibility or till employment or enrollment in any other scheme, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
  • The applicant must be aged between 21 and 40 years as on 01.04.2026.
  • The applicant must be unemployed.
  • The applicant must have passed the Madhyamik or equivalent examination.

> Notes:

  • Yearly verification of live status of the beneficiary of the scheme: Once a year, the status of the beneficiary, whether alive or not will be verified.
  • Stopping or withholding of financial assistance: The Government may, after giving the beneficiary of the scheme an opportunity of being heard, stop or withhold financial assistance if:
  1. The Financial Assistance has been found to be sanctioned on mistaken grounds.
  2. The eligibility condition for the granting of financial assistance no longer exists.

How to Apply for Banglar Yuba Sathi

Application mode: Online / Offline

Step 1: Open the Official Website &amp;amp; Click on the &amp;quot;Click to Apply&amp;quot; icon.

Step 2: The applicant must enter a valid and active mobile number along with the captcha. Upon submission, a secret PIN (OTP) will be sent via SMS to the registered mobile number, which must be used to complete the login process.

Step 3: Upon successful login, the application page will be displayed. The applicant is then required to complete and submit the online application form with the necessary details.

Step 4: The applicant is required to upload all mandatory supporting documents as per the prescribed list before final submission of the application.

Step 5: Click on Final Submit for submission of the application.

Step 6: After successful submission, download the application form and retain it for future reference.

Step 1: The application form will be available free of cost at camps to be organized at different assembly constituencies of this state.
