The "Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Meritorious Student Award Scheme" was launched by the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, to encourage students from the Scheduled Caste category to achieve high academic scores and motivate them to pursue higher education. Awards for securing the highest marks in the Class 12th Board examinations:
- 1st prize (Boy/Girl): ₹51,000/- - 2nd prize (Boy/Girl): ₹40,000/- - 3rd prize (Boy/Girl): ₹30,000/- - 4th prize (Only Girl): ₹20,000/- - 5th prize (Only Girl): ₹15,000/- - 6th prize (Only Girl): ₹10,000/-
