Financial Assistance to Non-Pensioner World War-II Veterans and Their Widows

Financial Assistance:

Financial assistance of ₹8,000 per month is provided to non-pensioner world War-II veterans and their lawful widows.

Mode of Disbursement:

The financial assistance amount is directly credited to the beneficiary’s bank account through the District Sainik Welfare Office.

Frequency of Disbursement:

The financial assistance is disbursed monthly.

Expected Time of Disbursement:

Disbursement is made within one week of application verification and approval.

1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
2. The applicant must be a non-pensioner World War-II veteran who served between 1 September 1939 and 14 August 1945, or his lawful widow.
3. The veteran must have been discharged from military service due to demobilization after the end of World War-II.
4. The applicant must not be receiving any pension from defense services or any other source.
5. In case of the veteran’s death, only the lawful widow is eligible for the benefit.
6. Upon the death of the widow, no other heir (children or relatives) becomes eligible.

##### *Registration*

Step 1: Visit the official website of &quot;Sainik Welfare&quot;, and click &quot;Log-in&quot;.

Step 2: In the online registration form, fill the following mandatory fields: Email ID, Mobile Number. Create a password and confirm. Finally, click &quot;Submit&quot; to complete the registration.

Step 3: After successful registration, the User ID and Password will be generated.

##### *Application*

Step 1: Visit the official website. Sign in using your Username and Password created during registration.

Step 2: Navigate to the online form of the scheme. In the form, fill in all the mandatory fields and upload all the mandatory documents in the specified format and size.

Step 3: Carefully review all the information provided and the documents uploaded. Make any necessary corrections. Click &quot;Save Application&quot;. You&#39;ll receive a confirmation message upon successful submission of the application, along with an &quot;application number&quot;. Click &quot;Print Application&quot; to print the application.

> Application Process

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the District Sainik Welfare Office and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the respective District Sainik Welfare Office.

> Post-Application Process

Step 1:**** The District Sainik Welfare Officer verifies the service records, residence status, and pension status.

Step 2:**** Verified applications are forwarded to the Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal for approval.

Step 3:**** The Directorate allocates funds to the concerned District Sainik Welfare Office.

Step 4:**** The District Office credits the monthly assistance directly to the beneficiary’s bank account.
