Benefits
Under this scheme, the following compensation is provided to fishermen for the repair or replacement of damaged boats and nets:
- ₹6,000/- for the repair of partially damaged boats
- ₹3,000/- for the repair of partially damaged nets
- ₹15,000/- for the repurchase of completely damaged boats
- ₹4,000/- for the repurchase of completely damaged nets
An investment subsidy of ₹10,000/- per hectare is provided for fish seed farms.

How to Apply for Machhali Palan
Application mode: Offline
Information about the disaster and the resulting damage is received from various sources. The concerned Patwari verifies the damage and records it in the P-20 form. The Patwari’s report is subsequently verified by the Tehsildar and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate. Approval is then obtained from the District Magistrate. Once the District Magistrate’s approval is received, relief funds are disbursed to the concerned beneficiaries at the Tehsil level.
