The "Kalyanamastu Pathakam Scheme - Andhra Pradesh" aims to encourage girls to marry the boys living in Andhra Pradesh who are getting their livelihood through Vaidikam, a one-time financial assistance of ₹75,000/- will be granted. In order to encourage Vedic culture as well.

About the Kalyanamastu Pathakam Scheme - Andhra Pradesh Scheme

Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (APBWC) is announcing the launch of “Kalyanamastu Pathakam”, to encourage Vedic Culture. Nowadays most Brahmin girls are not willing to marry the Brahmin boys who are in the professions of Pourohityam, Veda Parayanam, and Archakatam. To encourage the girls marrying the boys who are getting their livelihood through Vaidikam, a one-time Financial Assistance of ₹75,000/- will be granted.

Eligibility Criteria

> Bride:

  1. The applicant (Bride) should have completed 18 years of age at the time of marriage.
  2. The bride and her parents should belong to the Brahmin community.
  3. The bride should be enrolled in the Praja Sadhikara Survey (PSS).

> Bridegroom:

  1. The bridegroom should have completed 21 years at the time of marriage.
  2. The bridegroom should be a Brahmin resident of Andhra Pradesh and his livelihood should come from Pourohityam or Veda Parayanam or Archakatvam.
  3. The bridegroom should not be a full-time employee/businessman/professional in other professions or an Industrialist.

How to Apply for Kalyanamastu Pathakam Scheme - Andhra Pradesh

Application mode: Online

> Registration and apply

Step 01: Applicants have to visit the official website(https://www.andhrabrahmin.ap.gov.in/schemes/schemes.aspx#) and click on &quot;Scheme&quot;

Step 02: Click on &quot;Registration&quot; After that application form will open

Step 03: Fill out the required details:

  • Personal Details: Name, Residence address, Aadhaar no, Ration card no, Bank detail etc
  • Upload: Photo, Signature and Certificate Details
  • Documents: Birth Certificate, Residential Certificate, Aadhar Card, Caste Certificate, Bank Passbook etc
  • Finalize and &quot;Submit&quot; the application.

Step-4: After submission receive the reference number.
