The “Maternity Financial Assistance” scheme is implemented by the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (UKBOCWWB) under the Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial support to registered women construction workers during the maternity period. This assistance is admissible only for the birth of up to two children.

How to Apply for Maternity Financial Assistance (UKBOCWWB)
Application mode: Online - via CSC
- The online application is submitted through Shramik Suvidha Kendras.
- Along with the application form, the Shramik Card, ANC Card, a certificate issued by the medical officer regarding delivery, and a self-declaration stating that no assistance has been availed from any other department must be attached.
- The application must be submitted within one year from the date of delivery. This benefit is admissible only for the birth of up to two children.
- After submission, the department conducts verification, and if the application is found correct, the sanctioned amount is transferred directly to the bank account of the construction worker.
