About the Mukhyamantri Mahalakshmi Kit Yojana Scheme
The scheme "Mukhyamantri Mahalakshmi Kit Yojana" has been launched by the Department of Women Empowerment & Child Development, Government of Uttarakhand. Benefits
In the state, after the institutional delivery of a pregnant woman, the following benefits will be provided:
- The woman will receive one Mahalakshmi kit for the birth of each of her first two girl children.
- In the case of twins, the woman will be given one Mahalakshmi kit, and each child will receive a separate Mahalakshmi kit.

Eligibility Criteria
- The beneficiary must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- The beneficiary must be a pregnant woman registered with an Anganwadi Centre and eligible to receive a Mahalakshmi Kit after delivery.
- The beneficiary must not be an income tax payer.

How to Apply for Mukhyamantri Mahalakshmi Kit Yojana
Application mode: Offline
After the institutional delivery of a pregnant woman registered at an Anganwadi Centre, a Mahalakshmi Kit is provided as a benefit.
The following items are included in the kit for mothers and their newborn girl children:
- For Mothers: Dry fruits, socks, scarf, towel, shawl, blanket, bedsheet, sanitary pads, mustard oil, soap, and nail cutter.- For Newborn Girl Child: Cotton/warm cap, socks, diaper, towel, baby soap, rubber sheet, warm blanket, and vaccination card.
