Production Linked Incentive Support on JDPs

• Financial incentive reimbursing 5% of the cost of Jute Raw Material used in manufacturing exported Jute Diversified Products.
• The reimbursement is limited to 3% of the sales value of Jute Diversified Products exports, whichever is less.
• The maximum financial support provided is ₹12,00,000/- per unit per annum.

##### *Disbursement*

• Payment for all Jute Material purchased and receipt of export proceeds must be made only through electronic means or banks. No cash transactions will be considered for the incentive.
• Claims are paid on a quarterly basis within two months of submission, provided the claims are complete in all respects with the required documentation.
• If a claimant misses a quarter, they can submit it with the immediate next quarter's claims along with a written explanation.

##### *Conditions*

The beneficiaries under the scheme must be Aadhaar-seeded.

• The claimants must give an undertaking to the National Jute Board that they have not availed nor will they avail of any other incentive on the Jute Diversified Products production and exports on which this incentive has been claimed.
• Claimants must update their documents and data at the beginning of every financial year.
• Any unit availing the benefits is liable to return the amount of subsidy with interest (at prevailing bank interest rates for commercial loans) if found to have claimed benefits using false or fraudulent documents.

• The applicant must be a Jute Mill Company or a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise unit set up within the geographical boundary of India.
• The applicant must be actively engaged in the manufacturing and export of Jute Diversified Products.
• The applicant must ensure the manufactured products contain more than 50% jute content by weight, or more than 33% by weight in the case of multifibres where jute is the dominant fibre.

##### *Registration*

Step 1:** *Accessing the Portal***

The applicant must visit the official portal of the National Jute Board at www.jute.com to initiate the process. They must navigate to the prescribed online form titled ‘PLI Beneficiaries Registration’.

Step 2:** *Submitting Online Registration***

The applicant must accurately fill out the registration form with their business details and upload all the necessary compliance documents. Upon successful registration, the applicant will be provided with an online registration password to facilitate future claim submissions.

##### *Application*

Step 1: *Accessing the Claim Form*

Using the provided online registration password, the applicant must log into the portal at www.jute.com. The applicant must locate and open the prescribed form titled ‘PLI Claim Submission’.

Step 2:** *Submitting Quarterly Claims***

The applicant must submit their claims online on a quarterly basis by detailing their production and exports of Jute Diversified Products for that period. All mandatory proof documents, such as shipping bills, bank transaction details, and certified chartered accountant reports, must be uploaded before final submission.

##### *Post-Application Process*

Step 1:** *Verification and Disbursement***

The National Jute Board will review the submitted claims and cross-verify the uploaded documents. Once validated, the incentive amount will be paid on a quarterly basis within two months of the submission of a complete claim.

Step 2:** *Grievance and Clarification***

Any shortcomings found during the examination of the claims will be communicated to the claimants through email. The applicants must submit their compliance or clarifications via email only to ensure speedy disposal.
