Pre-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste Students

1. Day Scholar: ₹3500 Per Annum1. Hosteller: ₹7000 for Hostellers.

Additional benefits for Person with Disability (PwD) studying in private unaided Schools -

1. Divyang (Disabled) students are eligible for an additional allowance equal to 10% of the applicable academic allowance.
2. Disability should be certified under the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 by the designated competent authority.

1. The applicant should pursue studies in India.
2. The applicant should be studying in a Government school or a recognized private school having a valid UDISE code.
3. The applicant should not hold another educational scholarship for studying in Classes I to X. If awarded another scholarship, the applicant may avail only one scholarship and should inform the concerned authorities about the option chosen.
4. The applicant should maintain satisfactory academic performance and at least 75% attendance in every academic year for continuation of the scholarship.
5. The applicant should be promoted to the next class for automatic renewal of the scholarship.
6. The applicant repeating the same class is not eligible to receive the scholarship for that class for a second or subsequent year.

> Fresh Application:

Step 1: Obtain admission to Class IX or Class X in a Government school or a recognised private school having a valid UDISE code.

Step 2: Apply for the scholarship on the scholarship IT portal on the same day as admission.

Step 3: Provide Aadhaar ID/Aadhaar Enrolment ID and other required eligibility details during registration.

Step 4: Submit the scholarship application through the online portal.

Step 5: The institution verifies that the applicant has been admitted and is a bona fide student.

Step 6: Eligibility, caste status, Aadhaar details, and bank account information are verified through the prescribed digital verification mechanism.

Step 7: Upon approval, the scholarship amount is released through Direct Benefit Transfer into the student&#39;s or parent/guardian&#39;s account.

> Renewal Process

Step 1: The student is promoted to the next class.

Step 2: The institution confirms promotion, attendance, and rejoining of the school.

Step 3: Renewal is processed automatically; no separate renewal application is required.

Step 4: Scholarship is released subject to meeting attendance and academic requirements.
