- The applicant&#39;s contribution to Earth and Planetary Systems, Oceanography, Atmospheric Sciences, or Meteorology.

Nominations may be made by the Head of Academic & Research Institutions/ Vice-Chancellors/ Deans of Universities/ Fellows of the Indian Academies of Science and Engineering/ and past recipients of these awards.

How to Apply for Physical Research Laboratory Award
Application mode: Online
Step 1: The applicant visits the PRL website and navigate to the "Opportunities" section.
Step 2: Click on "Awards Administered By PRL" and select scheme "PRL Award"
Step 3: The candidate downloads the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 4: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 5: Nominations should be submitted via email to the Director: DIRECTOR@PRL.RES.IN with the subject line "Nomination for The PRL Award".
