About the Payment in the Owner-Occupied / Public Forestry Case Scheme

The "Payment in the Owner-Occupied / Public Forestry Case" scheme is launched by the Forest Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is implemented by the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO). Under this scheme, registered landowners and Lok Vaniki farmers can sell their teak and sal wood either at government-notified rates or through separate lot auctions and receive payment within a stipulated time.

  2. The applicant should be a registered Malik Makbuza (private forest owner) or Lok Vaniki farmer.

##### *Registration Process*

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of &quot;Madhya Pradesh Lok Sewa Guarantee Portal&quot;.

Step 2: On the homepage, click &quot;Citizen Registration&quot;. You will be taken to the registration page.

Step 3: On the registration page, fill in all the mandatory fields (name, mobile number, gender, and captcha) and click &quot;Verify Mobile Number.&quot;

Step 4: A verification code will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the code and complete the registration.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of &quot;Madhya Pradesh Lok Sewa Guarantee Portal&quot;.

Step 2: Enter your User ID, Password, and Captcha Code, and click &quot;Login.&quot;

Step 3: Click on &quot;Apply Online Service&quot; and select the scheme you intend to apply for.

Step 4: In the scheme&#39;s online application form, fill in all the mandatory fields and upload all the mandatory documents in the specified format and size (fields marked with * are mandatory), and click &quot;Submit&quot;.

##### *Post- Application Process*

Step 1:**** The concerned Forest Officer verifies the land ownership and timber records.

Step 2:**** After verification, the payment process is initiated through e-payment.

Step 3:**** Payment is completed within the specified time limits, 45 days for government rate sales or 30 days for lot sales.

##### *Appeal Process*

First Appeal: Can be filed within 30 days to the Regional Forest Conservator if payment or application is not approved.

Second Appeal: Can be filed within 60 days to the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Production) against the decision of the First Appellate Authority.
