Scholarships for Top Class Education for students with Disabilities, DNH & DD

1. Reimbursement of admission and tuition fees up to ₹1.90 lakh per annum.
2. Maintenance allowance: ₹3,000/- per month for day scholars and ₹1,500/- per month for hostellers.
3. Book allowance of ₹5,000/- per annum.
4. One-time laptop/computer grant up to ₹45,000/- in the first year.
5. One-time assistive devices grant up to ₹30,000/-.
6. Special disability-related allowances such as reader, escort, or helper allowance up to ₹2,000/- per month.

1. The applicant must belong to DNH&amp;DD.
2. The applicant must be a student with disability.
3. The applicant must be pursuing Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma courses.
4. The applicant must be studying in the Institutes of Excellence notified by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, New Delhi.
5. The applicant’s annual family income should not exceed ₹8 lakh.
6. The applicant should meet the admission criteria of the respective institution.

Step 1: Visit the official scholarship portal or contact the concerned Social Welfare Department of DNH &amp; DD.

Step 2: Fill in the scholarship application form with accurate personal, academic, disability, and bank details.

Step 3: Ensure admission is taken in a recognised institution for higher education.

Step 4: Upload or attach the required documents, including:

• Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority
• Domicile Certificate of DNH &amp; DD
• Income Certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• Admission Letter/Bonafide Certificate from the institution
• Previous qualifying examination mark sheet
• Fee Receipt
• Bank Passbook copy
• Passport-size photograph

Step 5: Submit the completed application form before the prescribed last date.

Step 6: The application and submitted documents will be verified by the institution and the concerned department.

Step 7: After approval, the scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the student’s bank account.
