The "Scheme of Financial Assistance to Literary/Educational Institutions for Organizing Programs/Conferences" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to provide grants to registered institutions for organizing events such as seminars, dialogues, conventions, workshops, and literary festivals. The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Sahitya Academy, and financial assistance is disbursed based on actual expenses, subject to a maximum limit. Institutions must comply with language usage norms, use appropriate branding and logos, and submit reports and financial documentation after event completion. Benefits
> Funding Assistance for Institutions:
- Up to ₹50,000/- or 75% of the actual expenditure, whichever is lower, is provided for organizing approved literary or educational events.
> Honorarium for Speakers:
- An honorarium of up to ₹2,000/- per speaker can be paid to invited speakers participating in the event.
> Note:
- Any honorarium amount exceeding ₹2,000/- will not be reimbursed by the Gujarat Sahitya Academy and must be borne by the organizing institution.
- Events must be reported with bills, photos, invitation cards, and video recordings.

Eligibility Criteria
- A registered literary or educational institution shall be eligible.
- Only 2 programs can organize per year by the institution.
- The program must be related to literature, education, or cultural discourse.
- The institution must use the Gujarati language in all materials (alongside any other language).
- The event must clearly acknowledge Gujarat Sahitya Academy through logos and name placement.
- The program must involve a minimum 5 speakers.
- All payments above ₹5,000/- must be made through banking channels only (RTGS/NEFT/Cheque).
