About the PMMSY: Ice Plant/Cold Store of minimum 10-ton capacity Haryana Scheme

The Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana: Ice Plant/Cold Store of minimum 10-ton capacity, introduced by the Ministry Of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India, aims to provide the subsidy to support the establishment of ice plants or cold storage facilities with a minimum capacity of 10 tons to improve fish preservation and cold chain infrastructure in Haryana.

This centrally sponsored scheme is jointly funded 50% by the Central Government and 50% by the State Government. Eligible beneficiaries must undertake to keep the unit operational, cover maintenance and post-construction costs, and ensure ice is supplied to fishers and fish farmers at affordable prices.

Benefits

  • The project cost is ₹40,00,000/-

> Subsidy Distribution :

  1. A 40% subsidy is available for the General Category.
  2. A 60% subsidy is offered for SC (Scheduled Caste) and Women beneficiaries.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. The applicant must be a resident of Haryana and possess a valid Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP).
  2. The applicant must submit an undertaking in the DPR agreeing to bear all operational, maintenance, and post-construction costs.
  3. The applicant must ensure that the ice plant/cold storage remains continuously operational.
  4. The applicant must ensure that the ice produced is supplied to fishers and fish farmers at affordable prices.
  5. The applicant must either own the land or have it on a long-term registered lease of at least 10 years.
  6. The applicant must note that central assistance will be provided based on actual costs, within the overall ceiling limits specified under PMMSY sub-components.
  7. The applicant must understand that, upon approval, the subsidy will be disbursed as per the procedure laid out under PMMSY.

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal: Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.

Step 2: For registration, click on “New User/Register Here” and fill in all the mandatory details,i.e., Name, Email ID, Mobile Number &amp;amp; password. Click on ‘Submit’.

Step 3: Verify the OTP received in the provided Email and Mobile Number. Alternatively, click on the Verification Link to activate the profile.
