The Shravan Kumar Shramik Parivar Tirth Yatra Yojana (SKSPTYY) is a commendable initiative launched by the Uttar Pradesh government in 2022. Benefits

  • A maximum lump sum assistance of ₹12,000/- will be provided for the travel expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. The worker must be working in an establishment registered under the Factories Act, 1948.
  2. The monthly salary (basic salary + dearness allowance) of the worker should not exceed ₹15,000/-.
  3. The worker must have completed at least six months of continuous service in the establishment/factory and must be in service at the time of application.
  4. Where both the worker and his wife are working as workers in factories/establishments, then only one of them will be eligible for this facility.
  5. The worker and his dependents (dependents include wife, maximum 2 unmarried children, parents of the worker, mother-in-law and father-in-law in case of female worker) but the total number of members including the worker will be maximum 6. Only two children of the worker's family and dependent mother/father can be included.
  6. The worker will be able to avail this facility once in his entire service period.
  7. In case more application forms are received than the budget provisioned in the financial year under the scheme, the workers with the maximum age will be selected for the benefit on the basis of priority.
  8. The last date for receiving applications in each financial year will be 30th September of the respective year.

How to Apply for Shravan Kumar Shramik Parivar Tirth Yatra Yojana

Application mode: Online

Step-1: Access the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Labour Welfare Board at https://skpuplabour.in/.

Step-2: Select the "Shramik Application" option from the homepage.

Step-3: For new users, proceed with the "Register New User" option. Fill out the registration form accurately and submit it. The system will generate a unique user ID and password, which will be sent to the registered mobile number.

Step-4: Utilize the provided credentials to log in to the portal.

Step-5: Choose the relevant scholarship scheme from the available options. Diligently complete the application form, ensuring all details are accurate and complete. Upload a recent photograph of the applicant. Finally, submit the application form for further processing.

Step-6: Obtain a printed copy of the duly submitted application form for future reference.

Step-7: Present the application form at the concerned educational institution and the factory/establishment for verification and endorsement.

Step-8: Log in again using the registered user ID and password. Access the "Scheme Application Details" section and upload a scanned copy of the verified application form along with the required supporting documents. Save the information for successful submission.

Step-9: Upon successful verification and validation of the application, the scholarship amount will be disbursed to the beneficiary's bank account. The beneficiary will be notified through an SMS on the registered mobile number.

Step-10: Applicants can track the status of their application by selecting the "Application Status" option on the portal.
