1. The applicant should be a Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) approved maritime training institute.
2. The applicant should have participated in the Comprehensive Inspection Programme (CIP).
3. The applicant should have demonstrated consistent and high performance in training quality and outcomes.
4. The applicant should fall under one of the following categories:

• Pre-sea training institutes for Officer Cadets (Nautical &amp; Engineering);
• Pre-sea training institutes for Rating Trainees;
• Post-sea training institutes conducting Competency Courses.
