• ₹3,000/- per year for college-level athletes.

• ₹10,000/- for athletes achieving recognition at the national or international level.
• Daily allowance of ₹200/- and second-class rail fare for national/state-level participants.

> *Sports Material:*

• Hockey sticks, badminton rackets, tennis rackets, bows, arrows, tracksuits, shoes, socks, and carrying bags.

• Certificates and prizes for top performers in various categories.

NOTE: Support for Below Poverty Line (BPL) Athletes priority access to sports materials and financial assistance.

1. The applicant must be a Scheduled Tribe student and a resident of Jharkhand.
2. The applicant must be studying in a middle school, high school, or college.
3. The applicant must actively participate in state or national-level sports competitions.
4. The athletes achieving national-level recognition are eligible.
5. The applicant belongs to families below the poverty line are eligible.

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the District Welfare Office and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the District Welfare Office in consultation with school or college authorities.

Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).
