The scheme aims to recognize and honor the exceptional work carried out by individuals and organizations in the field of social welfare, particularly benefiting the Scheduled Caste (SC) community. Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant should be either an individual or an organization.
  • If the applicant is an individual, they should be a resident of Gujarat; if an organization, it should operate within Gujarat.
  • The applicant should have made outstanding contributions in the field of social welfare.
  • The contributions should specifically benefit or directly impact the Scheduled Caste (SC) community in Gujarat.

How to Apply for Various Awards to Individuals/Organizations who have made Outstanding Contributions in the Field of Social Welfare

Application mode: Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) office of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the office of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
