Under the programme, 08 sectors approved by the Government of India are being implemented under NSQF to provide vocational education alongside academic education for students of classes 9 to 12 in selected schools, where they receive both vocational education and training.

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- The applicant must be studying in classes 9 to 12 in one of the 200 selected government secondary schools of Uttarakhand.

How to Apply for Vocational Education Programme
Application mode: Offline
- All students studying in classes 9 to 12 in government secondary schools where vocational education is conducted can take admission in the sectors operated under this programme.
- If a student from another school wishes to study the vocational education curriculum, they must take admission in a school where the vocational education curriculum is being conducted.
- Students already studying in such schools can choose vocational education as one of their subjects like other subjects. For this, no separate application is required.
- There is also no need to submit any documents for the selection of vocational education subject.
